Annual District Audit Update
Catlett & Associates, an independent auditing firm, audited the financial statements of the governmental activities and each major fund of the De Soto #73 School District for the year ended June 30, 2023. Results from the De Soto District audit conducted by Catlett & Associates concluded, "all significant transactions have been recognized in the financial statements in the proper period and there were no audit findings." At the beginning of the 2022-2023, total fund balances were at $24,020,965.00 and $25,812,006.00 at the end of the year. Special thank you to all staff for contributing to the success of our annual audit report. Diligence in the fiscal management of taxpayer funds by following our internal processes and procedures is something our De Soto community can take pride in.
